Welcome to Ptbo Fam Docs: The Think Tank Hub (“the Hub”). By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Hub.
1. About Us
The Hub is operated by the Ptbo Fam Docs: The Think Tank, a community of family physicians in Peterborough, Ontario. The purpose of the Hub is to provide a centralized resource for referral information, locum details, tools, event information, and related physician community content.
2. Acceptable Use
By using the Hub, you agree to:
- Use the website only for lawful purposes related to clinical practice, community coordination, and physician collaboration.
- Not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Hub, its servers, or connected systems.
- Not upload or transmit any content that is harmful, defamatory, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate.
- Not use the Hub to store, upload, or transmit any patient information or personal health information (PHI). The Hub is not designed for patient data and is not a PHIPA-compliant storage or messaging system.
3. User Accounts & Contact Information
Some features of the Hub may require you to create an account or provide contact information.
By providing your information, you:
- Confirm that the information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- Consent to the Hub storing and using your contact information for purposes such as updates, notifications, service improvements, or community coordination.
- Acknowledge that we do not collect, store, or process any patient information or PHIPA-regulated data.
You may request deletion of your contact information at any time by contacting the Think Tank.
4. Privacy
The Hub collects limited personal information (e.g., name, email address) to support account creation, communication, and website functionality.
We do not collect:
- Patient health information
- Clinical data
- EMR content
We take reasonable security measures to protect your information; however, no system is completely secure. Use of the Hub is at your own risk.
A separate Privacy Policy may be published and incorporated by reference.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Hub—text, graphics, design, layout, and resources—is the property of the Peterborough Physician Think Tank or its contributors, unless otherwise indicated.
You may:
- View, download, or print content for personal or professional use within the Peterborough medical community.
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, modify, or republish content for commercial purposes without permission.
6. Third-Party Links
The Hub may contain links to third‑party websites, tools, or services. These links are provided for convenience only.
We are not responsible for:
- The content, accuracy, or practices of third‑party sites.
- Any harm or damages arising from their use.

We do not guarantee:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Peterborough Physician Think Tank and its contributors are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Hub, including but not limited to:

- Data loss

- Website downtime
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Hub is to discontinue use.
